Healh Care Training Center offers both day and evening NAC training classes (CNA training) for individuals who want to become a Nursing Certified Assistant.  Our NAC training classes are 112 hours; 56 are spent in the classroom and 56 hours are spent in a clinical situation working with patients.All classes are taught by professional nurses. The class covers a wide range of topics, ranging from positioning a patient properly, to assisting a patient in dressing, to bathing a patient. You will learn the proper method to encourage ones independence and promote their personal rights. You will learn how to recognize abuse and neglect, how to feed a patient and proper body mechanics for lifting and turning a patient. Your NAC training will include 7 hours of HIV/AIDS and other infectious disease control. You will work along side an experienced NAC and under the watchful eye of your instructor.
To successfully complete NAC training (CNA training) you are expected to attend all classes. You are to register as an NAR(Nursing Assistant Registered) with the Department of Health in the State of Washington.You should also demonstrate comprehension of the classroom instruction by passing course quizzes and exams with a minimum of 75% and demonstrate in practice lab and the clinical setting your proficiency of the required nursing skills.

When contacting us don't forget to ask us about tuition reimbursment. Tuition is $750.00. This includes all books and materials needed to successfully pass the class and be ready to take the State Certification Exam.

Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving

NAC training/CNA training

RFOC is taught by a professional nurse and is a 28 hours course in a classroom setting. RFOC is taught during the last week of every month. At this class you will receive assistant in applying for your NAR, you will receive your certificate at the end of class and will be tested on food safety. You will learn how to provide range of motion,assist with personal care, transfering clients as well as medication assistance.  

Cost for this 4 day class is $120.00

For those who have some background in health care we also provide self study courses in Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation Special Focus Materials can be picked up for these self studies at our office. Twice a month we offer a testing date over these courses.

American Heart CPR/AED, First Aid and bloodborne pathogens can be taken without being an NAC (CNA) training student at our school. We offer these courses at a very reasonable price.
