OUR MISSION

We believe that health care providers must have adequate training and the opportunity to learn the principles and practice skills needed to recognize the needs and provide quality care to their patients.  Learning occurs in an atmosphere of mutual respect with questioning encouraged and opportunities provided to practice skills in the classroom and clinical setting under the supervision and guidance of experienced instructors. This program lays a foundation for the basic training and the continued learning of a caregiver. Patients cared for have their needs met with respect, dignity, safety, independence and confidentiality. As a health care provider you are the patients advocate. By providing these rights you can be certain you hace made a positive difference in that person’s life.

NACs can be found working with the elderly or with children and every age between.

NACs work in Hospitals, Dr. Offices, Assisted Living facilities, Adult Family Homes as well as Skilled Nursing facilities

 WHAT IS AN NAC

If this exciting career is for you, registering and attending our NAC (CNA) school for our NAC training (CNA training) is an easy process. We can be reached by email, an office visit or a phone call. You can register for a day or evening class in less than 1 hour.

Our NAC Classes are held on a monthly basis, with the didactic portion taking place at our classroom in the Spokane Valley and the clinical portion taking place at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

If you provide care to a client or resident in his or her home, provide care in a boarding home, adult family home or Skilled Nursing Facility you are required to have the proper training. Health Care Training Center provides that training: NAC training/CNA training or NAR training.

If you have a sincere desire to help people, are willing to accept delegated tasks, and work as a meaningful part of a team, a career as a nursing assistant may be for you. We provided Nursing assistant training monthly (CNA training).

Health Care Training Center

Health Care Training Center is fully accredited and licensed by the Washington State Department of Health, Department of Social and Health Services and Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board.

NAC; nursing assistant certified is the official title used in the State of WA. It replaced the title CNA approximately 20 years ago. There is no difference. NACs are CNAs. When you register to take NAC training you are taking CNA training.

NACs provide hands on care for those who are unable to care for themselves. This may include bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting and toileting patients. They also assist with meeting the physical and emotional needs of their clients.

The NAC ensures the safety and comfort of the patients entrusted to their care. They are primarily under the direction of a Nurse and as such are responsible for carrying out the duties assigned by the nurse, as well as reporting any changes in the patients mental or physical status to the nurse.
